Default 27% CA Models Extra vs. Texas Hurricane

Hi FOlks,
For those of you who have actual flying experience with these two models, could you comment on their 3D capabilities? I have the 27% CA Models Extra with a DA50 and I am looking for something more stable in elevators and harriers.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Folks,
No replies in a few days so I going to try a different question. How does the Hurricane perform in elevators and harriers? I'm looking for a decent 3D plane / test mule for my DA50. I have the 27% Extra and I'm not overly thrilled with it in 3D. Maybe it's just how I have it set up.

Well, I personally don't have much experience with larger planes, but I've been told that the aeroworks 31% edge 540 is a nice flyer on the da50. If it will do what you, I have no clue... but it's something else to look into.

Default Texas Hurricane

Hi Folks,
I decided to take my DA50 and all the gear out of my 27% Extra and put it into the Texas Hurricane. Really impressed how it went together. Had to shorten the motor box about 3/4" for the DA50. Also mounted the servos on the outside of the fuse and wings rather than bury them inside.
I'll let you know what I think of the Texas Hurricane.

Any comments on the Extra? I'm assuming it's a CA Models 27% Extra.
