Default "4-D" flying??

Just noticed this on the description of the forum
Our 3D flying forum is the ultimate resource for 3D flyers. Also discuss the latest in "4D" flying!
Just curious if somebody could give me - no pun intended - a crash course in what 4-D flying is?

Im assuming we dont have any models that have a warp drive to travel to distant galaxies via wormhole or any other crazy stuff relating to special relativity... so other then that im stumped??!

Any insight would be greatly apreciated!

Im not a 3-Dpilot, im more of the precision aerobatics type... but i seen that and it struck my curiosity.

Thanks in advace!

The 4th D is a reversible thrust prop so you can do ultimately inverted prop hanging or other direction changing tumbles. More of a fad I think.

hmm.. sounds 'interesting' lol... I think you're right.. .sounds like one of those fad things....  although a variable piitch prop would be interesting for something to play with on my planes, i dont think i would be interested in the reverse thrust....  then again  might be interesting to use it as reverse thrusters to slow my planes down on landing rollout... that would be nice....LOL

thanks for the info

Here you can see RJ using a V-pitch in his ETOC freestyle. He doesnt employ it until about 1/2 through and then really beings using it at 3/4
