Saw that plane mentioned in another thread, and wondered if you would be stocking it as I saw it was from a company you sell (topmodels).
So dish the dirt then:
How much and what is the set up to get it to hover? Are you going to put it on your website?
I could really do with an indoor/outdoor electric to fly evenings, this could be it.

The southern model show is 20/21 September which if I'm not mistaken is the same weekend as was decided for the 3D event being organised in a different thread!!

I would only have gone to the 3D event as a spectator through lack model capable of competition at the moment. (Damn that ground was hard!!!). So I will be attending the southern model show

Actually if you look close enough you can just make out the strings...!
Wow that is some s**t hot flyin. The only indoor prop hanging i'd previously seen was when a plane got snaged on a girder in a hall, balanced precariously by the tip of the blade! Though i guess thats cheating.

Hey guys,
The model is called Geni. I am bringing them into the UK. The cost of the plane itself is £74.99
In this model I have a Hacker B20 15L motor and gearbox Swinging a 10x4.7 APC prop. The cells I am using are 3 Lithium Ions 1400mah and I get about 15mins 3D flying time from these.
As for the southern airshow. I would like to go but if it clashes with the 3D event I am afraid I will have to go and support the 3D thing.

Ali....how do you charge your Li-IONS? I think by using an LRK motor and a dodgy US charger I've twated all mine. Although I'm now running the same motor and prop.
The Essex 3D Event - well I haven't had the numbers that I hoped for, although its purely been this list and word of mouth. I think there was about 12-15 flyers interested.
I propse an informal get together at the field for those who maybe want to meet up for a days flying at the end of the show season, then a more formal day with a competition next Spring before the shows kick off. Its really difficult as a lot of you talented 3D'ers have show commitments. I'll set a date....the field will be open to whoever wants to come along. (Dave, Ali + chums, Malc, Luke, Hercmate, Sprink, Surrey? Edible-Engine, etc etc?????)
Also I may fly in the Pattern Nationals thats the last weekend in September, so may be after this - early October (we'll need the barbie to keep warm!!!).

Arnie.
I am using a mains supply that has variable volts and amps. The boy got it for me and its the only way to charger liths.
I like the sound of the sound of a 3D get together . the more informal the better.
P.S Don't listen to the Boy's pattern comments. They way I look at if if your a queen, your a queen. No need to fight it
