Ian. Your own set, prop/engine choice etc will effect it.
I had a Kyosho Sensation that was totally pure in KE without any mix.
A mate had the same model with different motor/prop and had to, although only a few percent, mix out pitch to rudder.
If its pitching and rolling try to get one mixed out first, then work on the other.

Two important underestimated items very much effecting knife edge performance and counter control is c of g, this is more critical than in normal flight (and we all knoe how important that is) ! The reason it's more critical is theres less area being used as lift, i.e the fus is now the wing ! A rearward c of g usually helps knife edge but to rearward can cause more unstability (in normal flight as well of course). The other item is how much the ailerons deflect ! again this becomes more critical in knife edge as the steering mechanism (now a vertical wing) is acting on a much smaller area (fus is now the wing ). I.E> if you move the ailerons up slightly via flap mix this will usually reduce the amont of elevator and aileron mix ! of course you might need to move ailerons down depending on model. Try it you will be amazed how much both of these make a difference in very small amounts !
