It seems to me the capiche has been a victim of its own success, and its generated a lot of interest on here - so the threads get closed down. Just because there are several of us talking about the capiche favourably isnt a reason to close the threads.
Just for the record, I have nothing to do with Island hobbies, and my comments about the capiche are mine only.
Chris.

Edible,
Get a 2nd Cougar wing and do a biplane. Or go one step further and get another Cougar and join the wings and tail together about 2/3 the way along and have a twin! With some fancy throttle mixing on the tx, you won't even need rudder when prop hanging!

Good choicefor the catfish
! I bought my 3010s a couple of weeks back, I'm using them on all surfaces! 90 quid tho on servos! Luckily the shop let me have a lay down when I paid for them
Fuz should be glued this afternoon and sheeted by tomorrow, progress is slow as its my first ever kit. No probs so far.....

Everyone keeps talking about 3010s. I seem to have missed these completely. What are they and any specs etc? What about price? And those of you that have used them, any good?

off top of my head 5.4 kg, 0.16 sec, standard size, £20ish ea - tbc.
I reckon they're perefect for some like the catfish (I might build mine with whiskers
) reasonably cheap but decent enough specs to get the most out the design.Andy

those 3010s sound good.
I think i might replace the 11kg coreless hitecs that i have currently got in the Catfish with those when i move them into a 140ex.I wonder if they are more precise than the hitec HS225 mighty minis ?

Edible,
Where did you get your name from? I hope you didn't try eating one intentionally or otherwise. The last time I had a face full of metal was when I had a brace at 15 and pleasant it was not
