Default Showtime 90 4D Aileron Flutter

Hey guys, I just started flying a Hanger 9 showtime 90 4d, and am really enjoying it. It would be the perfect plane for me except for if I do a "high speed" pass over the runway just above half throttle, the ailerons flutter like crazy. Is this a characteristic of a 3d plane with large control surfaces that cannot be avoided? Would higher torque aileron servos be able to reduce this? I do have the gap sealed on them, btw. I'm running a Saito 1.25 on it with a 16x6 APC and was thinking maybe some of this is from engine fibration at high rpm's. Just a thought, this is my first four stroke. Maybe I should try a 16x4w to prevent overspeed and provide better hovering? Sorry for rambling, lol. I just need some advice from more experienced folks... Thanks in advance

those servo should be alright on your bird as i run 90 oz ones on mine. Next we have to see what kind of linkage connection you have. Do note that 1/2 throttle on most motors is really like 3/4 throttle since the 1st part of the movement does a lot to rpms at the carb.

The showtime is not really meant for high speed flying (I think). People have reported similar problems with the UCDs, though, admittedly, the UCDs have much fatter wings.

I never had this problem with my Showtime 4D, and I even used it in a sport pattern competition. Do the DS821's have metal gears? Are the servos slop free?

Also, are you sure it's the ailerons fluttering that you are hearing?

Oh!! And, one more thing: did you use the stock CA hinges? If so, replace them all. They are prone to failure.
