Digital Servo on throttle

Hey all:

on my h9 Suhkoi, " Preinstalled Spktrum a6000" digital servo. it seems that Icant get it tuned in.

I will set the idle, then Iget no responce untill Imove the throttle stick, then it applys the new setting it does this both ways.

do Ineed a better servo?

this is on a DA85. and Iam not that used to engines this large....

thanks

Hope this makes sence....... If i adjust the idle down on the radio. before the engine idles down Ihave to move the throttle stick

Simple way to check- connect another servo direct into the rx. you dont need to install it. see the response without starting the eengine. if its the same, its tx related.

I was told and most of the fliers I know with giant scale use a good coreless analog servo for throttle. Their reasoning is that vibration can shorten some digital servos lifespan and with the digital servo constantly "looking" for center ;those little movements are not desired on the throttle.

Indeed.

Vibration can shorten any servos lifespan, the fact that it's digital is irrelevent

sorry it was a little confussing :

But I found it....... the servo tray had come loose. when I would set idle at a good point. it would seem reset it self after throttleing up, and vice verca......

I know right !!!! hard to explane and hard to fiure out.</p>
