The "Scrambler"
Mr. Moorman has an article in the Jan 2002 issue of R/C Report on executing a manuever he's labled the "Scrambler". He claims credit for naming it, and who am I to disagree, so that's what I'm going to call it too.
I don't enjoy flying in the cold, so flying has been postponed til spring for me. I would really like to get out and attempt the scrambler, but will have to wait I guess. It reads like it would be a lot of fun to do. Anyone with experience flying the scrambler? How do you do it? What airplane have you used? |
The "Scrambler"
I'm not familiar with that one. Whats it supposed to look like?

The "Scrambler"
Ed explains it as a cartwheel type maneuver. It is performed like the lomcevak in that you start with one set of controls, then reverse one of them.
INSTRUCTION: Hold full left rudder, full throttle, full down elevator, full left aileron until the plane goes around about a turn and a half. Then slide the aileron stick over to the full right aileron position. The aiplane should cartwheel for a turn or two. |
RE: The "Scrambler"
