ca hinge gap?
 

i have a twist 3d, my right side elv hinge gap is wide enough to slip a male
servo conector( the thin side) between the two halves. would this overly concerne any of you?
failure is my fist thought <flutter> hinge tape will be used. thanks e-mo...

I think that gap may be a little big, but if you use tape you should be ok. I too have a twist, and my gaps are the diameter of the stick pin I used to hold them in place, about 1/2 mm.

Seal both sides (top/bottom) of the elevator and fly the heck out of it.
