Sig Something Extra 3D Improvements?

I'm building a Sig Something Extra, does anyone have any mods that they put built into it to improve performance or 3D manuevers?

I've found this list of tips which I plan on using aswell.

This plane is a very good flying one but lacks the lightness to really perform well in 3D. There are many placed to lighten the plane if you are building the kit (not ARF). I would begin with the wing. There are a lot of double ribs (including some light ply) in the root of the wing. Use only one rib and lighten it a lot. A 40% Carden doesn't use nearly as much wood at the root. The fusealge could do with many less parts and doublers. the tail could be stick instead of the "lightened" sheet stock. The platform of the plane is good. Just make it really light especially at the wingtips.

Add 1" to the rudder, and go with pull-pull on it. Get at a minimum 45° out of it. You'll have to trim the elevator some to do this, which you may want to add 1/4" to as well. The elevator having 45° is also critical, pull pull here makes this easier. The Webra 50 is an ideal motor as it is very light, powerful and has good transition. The CG recommendation is conservative, you can go 2-3" aft of the spar, just do so slowly. You'll have to adjust your low rates and expo as you do. Build light - at 4 1/2 lbs (not easy to achieve) the thing flies awesome.
