ORIGINAL: 3dman523 I just bought a harrier 90 for doing 3d. i am 14 and been flying for about 7-8 years. I decided to get into 3d flying so i bought this plane. It has a saito 120 for power. is this a good setup for 3d? Saito 120 will have more than enough power for this bird. Just get the CG correct, as this is a heavier engine than called for. |
RE: harrier .90
i started flying when i was 6. both my mom and my dad fly. I am useing a 18x6w prop. it is a little tail heavy but i like it that way it hovers realy good.

RE: harrier .90
The 18x6W is a little too much for the Saito 120, its more for something like a YS140 or the OS160. Try to use a 16x6 or 17x6. I just got mine ready, everything xcept for the cowling. I am using a YS110 and the plane will be nose heavy once the cowling comes on. I will have to shift my RX batt and other stull more to the back. Hope she flies well!
