LOL. yeah, you're right about that! Hey, does it require a lot of elevator to do a flat spin? I was trying some today and it would never flatten out very well. I was pretty much just above idle though. Maybe more throttle would flatten it out? I have a moderate amount of elevator but it definitely has more travel in her. It's a Harrier .46 with an OS46AX. And what's the deal with the landing gear on this *****? I have done maybe 8 soft landings and it's already bowlegged!

I apologize, I took for granted that you understood what up elevator meant. Its a common term and it always refers to the direction of surface deflection. Up elevator pull back on the stick. Down elevator pudh forward.

Yes, It requires a lot of elevator. At least 45 degrees elevator deflection on most planes to really flatten it out. IT also requires power. You have to add enough power to make all that elevator deflection effective by moving air across the control surfaces. Typically you will need about 1/2 throttle to get a plane to flat spin, maybe more, almost never less than half throttle.
