I tend to fly extreem...maxed out control surfaces, full throw snaps...max everything.

If a planes got a weak spot inherent in it's design, or build process, I'll root it out every time.

Now that I'm done with the test process, the only weak spot is the horiz stab. The fix is a 1/4 in strip of carbon fiber ironed down the LE and TE both sides and wicked with thin CA.
Cost 3 bucks and a wee bit of covering.

Absoutly must do, if you fly like I do.

Hey, I've had mine for 3 months with an irvine 53 in it (lying around and wanted to fly the thing bad!) and reckon ill try another engine. Limit is about £180 ($291 today's rates.) Thatd have to cover the prop too. Could this get me a four stroke tha would be good for this plane? It'd be my first

grier
can you get a hold of an Irvine 72?...thats what I got on my Raz,,,flies it real nice....G

Yea, I like Irvine engines and four strokes are way out of the question so I might go for it. Will it hover with that engine or should i get an OS 91Fx its in my range too and has more power

Heehee sweet, I could get the irvine and spend the rest on a plane =D! What prop are you using in that? The cowl makes it look pretty you know...

Hey guys, the razzle looks very tempting ! How does razzle compare to UCD, performance, quality of parts, and price wise ? Thanks

Ho ho! seconds difference..this isnt funny lol. The Razzle is a nice plane to fly, very aerobatic and fast with a high pitch prop on. Good value too compared to some others, i'd recommend it

This plane is a steal at $150.00 US.
Flys as good as the Ucan, Personally I like the looks better, (I know, opinions vary)
And flys much slower than the UCan.

3d, also the hardware is so,so . most of it you can use,the link to the servo arm you can toss.the only thing i am changing for now is were the wing bolts go in i am adding a 1/8 ply piece so the bolt head cant dint the wing sheeting, cheak you later,arniebarn........
also you need to beef up the tailwheel mounting area
I seen a guy rip his oout this past sunday and it was a good landing.
we looked at the area his had maybe 1/8" sheeting, if it were me
I'd add a inch or so piece of 1/8 ply then mount the tailwheel on it??

That's good advice Bob, I haven't ripped mine out but I can see that I might by dragging the tail through the grass in Harrier.
I did hit my tail with CA before I installed the T/W though....

I have seen one of these using a satio 100. It hovers half throttle and has great pull out using a 15x6 APC. Plus the satio only weights 20.8 ounces.

I am running my razzle with a MDS 78 w/APC 14x8 prop on 5%. Ran three tanks through the engine before takeing her out to fly. The plane does not want to hover. Like its not pushing out enough power. I am still running the engine fairly rich, but could the prop be the problem? Should I get a higher pitch prop? Or do you think the engine needs some more fuel run through it before she will start pushing out some power.

I'd try a APC 13X4 W Jd, that will let the engine spool up quicker, and MDS's like to run on the upper RPM's.
You'll liie that prop I think...just be sure to ask for the "W", it stands for wide....
