Thanks for the quick post! I now see what you mean - now that doesn't look like my arrangement at all? I'm wondering if I have a different version of the Panic. I might opt to mount some control horns and ball links so that they are at right angles.

If you have the original panic, the main thing is the CG. This is the same on the new one. 4 inches back from the leading edge of the top wing. I am running mine at about 5 inches and it is wild. I had the old one for nearly 20 years and finally sold it with an ASP 91 to fund the new one. I have a West 50 on the front and it weighs 5lbs, the old one was just over 6lbs.
You will love it's wild antics as it does things you didn't now a plane could do.

I hesitate to ask this, but do you know the mounting details for the ailerons for the 'old' version?

The original Panic had a one piece flap on the top wing that worked with the elevator but many people put on four ailerons to improve the roll rate. I recommend you do the same and either use four servos or make up you your own links as you prefer.
Here is a link to a site where a guy goes through the build of an original Panic.

This should help you so you should have it flying in a week!!!
