Fliton Inspire
Is there a set of landing gear I can buy somewhere to replace the ones on my Inspire? Mine have been glued several times and they are broken again. I was hoping I could order a set from the Reactor or something.
Thanks Don |
RE: Fliton Inspire
IF YOU'D LIKE I CAN GET YOU THE MEASUREMENTS FOR THE REACTOR GEAR. WOULD HAVE TO BE LATER IN THE WEEKEND THOUGH; UNLESS SOMEONE CAN HELP YOU BEFORE THEN.

I still have the old stuff, I was just wondering if I could buy a set that would fit the plane without major surgery. Does Graphtech make them?
Thanks Don |

RE: Fliton Inspire
Yeah graphtech makes a set of gear legs for the Reactor. They are pretty nice but they do tolerate alot of abuse. The redesigned stock Reactor ger is tougher but it wont be as light.

Thanks Guys, I'll give Graphtech a try. I think I can make the Reator gear work.

Im thinking you could use the same method used with new engine mounts. Remove the blindnuts with heat, fill the hole with dowel and epoxy. Sand flush, redrill for new blindnut location, install blindnuts - and done. Shouldnt be difficult.

That's a good idea. I may just do that itf the geas shows up with pre-drilled holes. If it hasn't bween drilled, I'll just match the holes up. Thanks for the idea. Don |
