I am currently scratch building a JAR. I have only seen pictures of a few and decided to try one as I've heard they fly and hover well. Well, the plane is built, I just need to install the servos. The dimensions are 18" wide by 21" long. My control surfaces are 3.5". Power is going to be a LittleScreamer on an Etec 450mah 2cell with 8x4 GWS HD prop. GWS 4ch Rx with 3 Hyperion 3.7g servos. Here are my two questions.
1. CG (I am thinking about 5.25" back from the nose. At least a good place to start. To achieve this, the radio and everything will be in front of the CG)
2. Control throws. I don't want to have it too touchy so that it is unflyable, but have enough to fly the plane.
This pic is of it early on. I'll post more pics later.

Hi, since that is not one of my models I cant tell you exactly how it goes, but you can compare it with my VTO kit.
