Clarfication on CG. 3" back from the front "straight" part of the lE under the side rails? The wing only sweeps back at the LE after it comes out from under the side rail so I'm assuming you want to measure back from this straight section at the fuselage side correct?

Wow. I can't get mine to balance even with the damn battery up front. I've moved everything I can forward and the damn thing still won't balance (tail heavy). I guess I'll have to add weight. (13oz w/o battery).

Super Cap. Rear of wing skin? I see, but that is more like 4" back from LE correct? Instructions say 3" back from LE so that's where I'm trying to balance it.

I like my planes with a rearward cg, I dont know your skill level, but if your a 3D man, that is a pretty far back spot. Im suprised your having balance issues, mine was fine with a small 26m motor and a 1200 pack on it.

Yeah I am too :-) Trying to figure out why and I don't want to add any weight. Is the weight listed in the specs the all out flying weight with everything or just the plane?

I'm new to 3d so I don't want to get too rambunctious.... :-)

depends on the builder, mine come in 15oz and less fully painted with landing gear, rtf minus battery.

Where did your rudder and elevator servo's get put? have any pics?

Yeah I'm miffed. I've got 3 packs, a 950, 1350 and 2100. All thunder power. Even the biggest pack won't balance unless the pack is ontop of the motor, which won't work too well :-) I guess I'll try some nose weight.
