As for hovering, no the Somethin Extra doesn't have enough rudder authority to hover. Not sure about the elevator, but i doubt it. It's really not a 3D machine, its more of a fun fly plane. I built both of mine stock and they would do everything in the book except knife edge and 3D. I've heard enlarging the rudder will make knife edge better. So you really don't need the unlimited veritcal as this isn't a 3D plane. I'd go with the OS 46 or a 70 FS. Then stick the 76 into a more 3D capable plane but it's up to you! It'll be a blast to fly no matter what engine is in it.
