If they aren't going to be seen I would place another short 90 degree bend at the end that is glued so they drop into a hole drilled the same diameter as the wire, re-epoxy and they should stay put. Also roughing up the metal where it will be glued with a course file may help the epoxy to adhere to the metal better.
