no idea what it is but I agree that it appears to be pretty good. Looking at the cowling arrangement and the structure in front of the wing, it would be easy enough to ditch the wing mounted u/c and use the more modern style of u/c fixed to the fuz.

However, the torque-rod, wing mounted u/c may be more forgiving for you, especially if you are just beginning.
