... but not always. I just picked up a Papino design 1/4 scale Waco with the wires inserting into brass tubes. I also have the Balsa USA EAA Bipe and know that the wires TYPICALLY are not glued, nor do they have to be. In the case of the Waco, when I lift on the upper wing center section the wires move in and out on their slots. Not much, but it appears enouogh to upset incidence. I find it troubling and will try to find a way to better secure them.
