I think HPI had every intention of producing the Kalt machines, plus some of their own.

I also think that, once they fully realized how involved it was going to be, they decided to bag it.

It is a shame, because Kalt ships were pretty good.

Vuaim, there was a Kalt 20 many years ago. But it was pretty basic; might have even been fixed pitch, as I recall.
