The problem with trying to use the AA as a glider is that it weighs practically nothing. Which means that if there is any wind, even movement of air, the plane will be affected (ie, blown away). The other problem is that to turn, you have to have throttle. And since there are no control surfaces, any turning or adjustments you make will add thrust, which will not help it glide. This plane is good for many things, but I don't think glider is one of them.
