If that is the case then I bet using a stub exhaust will definitely be an improvement over both open exhaust & silencer?

Anyone willing to try it out?
I could quite easily do it with one of my rear exhaust engines by running with and without the pipe header which is 3.5" long. However, noise constraints won't really allow for that
