Default RE: ryobi engine conversion

well everything went "kerflewie" today. my new ring showed up in the mail ,and low and behold it's to big for my piston .aparently my engine is a 28cc i didnt know that.
ok ,no big deal.i pull apart another one i have laying around polish the ports clean every thing up ,and the chrome is about half peeled off the cilynder.i guess i should have checked it out first. its now 2:30 pm (i started at 9:00 am) .
harbor freight at3:00 pm $63.00 later i have a new 31cc ryobi .
during disasembly im pleasantly supriesed to find a twin ring engine with not two ports , but four!... and no compresion relief slots! with the exception of my bowman ring ,not to shabby!
wow ,what a roller coaster ,im almost back to where i started maybe ill get to run it tomorow .
