RE: Superfection & Warlock
Fsflyer,
As far as I remember, the Superfection was a modified Deception. It has a larger wing/longer fuselage/bigger stab. A friend in my R/C club used to fly one. To my knowledge it was never a kit, just scaled up drawings from the Jim Kimbro design.
The Warlock is a case of two different animals. The one that jlkonn is speaking of is a 1/2A Scott Christenson design that was kitted by Airtronics in both 1/2A and .40 sizes. Both are beautiful Airtronics kits and have no bad habits. I won my first pattern contest with one in Petersburg, VA with an Enya .45 on the nose/Airtronics radio. That plane taught me one thing.. that GARFIELD cannot fly. Despite the plane winning contests, it was prone to all sorts of gremlins.. I attribute this to Garfield the cat.
I believe the other "warlock" was a design published in RCM. I suggest going to the RCM plans guide and seeing if you can't find it. BTW, the Scott Christenson verson wasn't made in glass/foam as far as I know.
Good luck with your search.
