Big problem! Does anyone know how to separate the plastic tail drive gear from its shaft? The gear threads got stripped so I bought a new tail drive gear assembly (HS 1013-1) but to install it into the aluminum retainer, the plastic gear (which is too large a diameter to pass through the hole which captures the bearing) must be removed from the shaft. How can this be done without destroying the gear in the process?
HELP!!
