Ok, at the risk of somebody thinking it's wrong for a mod to close this thread..........
This is going nowhere.
Bottom line, mistakes were made, why it was posted in the first place I don't know. There were more diplomatic ways to deal with this. But now it's coming down to insults and attacks, not within the forum rules gentlemen (and I use the term loosely

)
I'm closing this thread now. SHOULD ANY new threads regarding this topic arise they had BETTER fall within all rules of the forum and be constructive rather than destructive. If it's a pissing match you guys want, take it somewhere else.
Bottom line, if you are a pilot, make sure your waiver is in place BEFORE attending an event. If you don't have one, don't expect to fly. If you are a CD, make damn sure you follow the rules. It's not hard to find out who does and doesn't have a waiver. No excuse is a legit excuse to not have it, even if AMA hasn't sent it out, it should be on the website correct?
Do I agree with the waiver system, not really, having to have a waiver does not mean you really deserve it, I've seen many pilots who are waiver holders who probably shouldn't be, but since those are the rules they need to be followed!
You can argue every law in the book with some form of justification, but in the end, the rules are the rules, that goes for flying, driving, and this very forum.
Now lets get back to what this forum is about, jets. There is no power gained from holding onto the past, mistakes get made, learn from them!
Thanks
Jeremy
