My question to them was, why not pay .50 cents and signature verification, now they are out 550.00 dollars. Whatever their reasoning, i have to say that that is good customer service!
If they required signatures then many of us would never get our stuff. Who would have signed for your stuff? Also, insurance is cheap. I would imagine that this is a consideration in their business model. Another thing, sending via US Postal Service menas that the thief has commited a federal offense. and Fianlly, I agree with you on service! My Kaos came with the covering in such bad shape, that they sent me covering, trim sheets, and pin striping (far more than needed for the problem) at my request. Now, that's about $40 worth of accessories for a plane that only cost $109! And at their own doing, they sent all this via 2nd day! Wow! talk about a pleasant ending to a bad thing.
