Default RE: Gas engine Stand-offs?

ORIGINAL: Maudib

I'm sold on Roger's at [link=http://www.forguesresearch.com]Forgues Research[/link]

He mills them to your exact length needed, can colorize them blue or red or send them natural, nd custom drills/taps the two ends... for insatnce 1/4-20 on one end and 10-32 on the other...

Lighter than having a full bolt through the whole thing (and long case hardened bolts are hard to find locally)

If I buy custom this is the guy I will order from... I have talked to him on the phone. $25.00 for a set plus shipping of $8 but if you order more then one set it's the one price for shipping.

What I didn't realize till your post is that he threads both ends and you can screw into and bolt down vs running a long bolt with a T nut. Thanks for the info. I can use the Wood dowels whish is the easy way out and who sees it when the cowels on, but have a couple planes I ould like to dress up. I use 1 1/8 dowel and using the smaller aluminum stand-offs gives me more room for hoses and things to get around.
