hmm ... You want an align 420 or 430 brushless motor with a 25A or 35A ESC. They are sold at lots of online locations ... $70-$90 for both usually. I haven't bought one, but the others on the list can probably advise you on that.

For the battery ... the one posted by another member just up a few messages is fine ... but I'd recommend polymax 2200. CHeck the board ... there is a google search at the bottom that will find that for you. Some have bought them and had great luck. They're like $40 ... you can use a cheap ESKY charger for $15 or so that will work great ... or get this one and you can charge anything(li-po, nicad, nimh, lead acid)
