I have a 61FX from new. Its very reliable and fairly quiet running but I consider it to be a weak motor for its size. Its smaller brothers the 46FX and the newer 46AX are powerhouses so why the 61 isn't a screamer as well is a dissapointment. What is a great motor and the low price is just a bonus is the Tower Hobbies 75. A pitts style muffler is also available if you need to mount the engine sidways. If you want a strong running 60 size engine, then get a TH75. Weight isn't a concern either as the TH 75 weighs 23 oz. with muffler which is 0.6 oz. less than the OS 61 with muffler. The TH 75 is also $75.00 cheaper.
