After watching the turbines flying at the Georgia Jets field last year I posted this idea http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4032820/tm.htm in what was the RCU “pattern” section before the “classic” section was created. I was really impressed with how graceful the giant maneuvers looked and how they reminded me of the 80s vintage pattern aircraft. I thought it would be neat if the F3A pattern was changed to look more like the turbine flight routines and make the current pattern events more interesting. Everyone thought I was a nut case and accused me of heresy. I guess it was not that nutty after all!
