Some pictures of the cowl fit. I'm worried a bit about the engine getting hot. There is no direct airflow over the top end of the cylinders.
But there are a couple of guys that I know off, Dkjens included, that fly this in warmer areas than where I am and there are no issues so I guess it should
be ok. I'll be checking the temps just in case though and if there is a need it shouldn't be hard to construct a baffling system that will direct
air to the end of the cilinders. Also you can see the opening in the cowl that needs to be made on the left side.
No big deal. There is a rumor that the new batch of these came with improved cowls that eliminated the need to do this.
I'll need to place a call to Sammy and confirm:
