I intend to explore the throttle curve option. Used to do those with the helis, so I'm familiar with the basics. But this eccentric-shaped throttle arm has me wondering...

As for adjusting the mixture, we approached it exactly as you describe. When we began tweaking the high end too, things really got FUBAR.
