There may be some arguements about muffler weights, but the overall changes would not make much of a difference in the end, perhaps just match a few of the engines up in final weights.

Pat, As you said the only problem with his final weights is if you use the Bisson W/A Pitts muffler for the DA then the DA is lighter. He chose the heaviest muffler (cannister excluded) that you could put on the DA which is not a fair comparison.

It is however a nice table to start understanding the different weights of motors we use.
The current link shows a wa pitts on the DA and it stil isn't lighter.

The canister muffler on the MVVS/Evolution really moves it out of first place. A Bisson inverted would be take another 6 oz off. Perhaps it is better to look at the engine and ignition since the muffler is a personl preference type of thing to some extent.
