Default RE: Brison 3.2

"Unloading" your 6.4 was a tremendous opportunity for whoever picked it up, and a great loss for you. Extreme reliability, high power output, and lighter all up weight over a DA100. They don't ever break down if treated half way correctly. I have three Brison engines and won't begin to consider letting any of them go. Service of the Brison line is still performed by the founder, Gary Allison. Should he ever fail to be available, I would think that Taurus, Fox, and RCIGN would be able to easily pick up the slack in service. I would hope that Kangke will be able to maintain a good service policy and proceedures for the Brison line, tho.

The only reason that DA maintained the market share was due to the quantity of advertising dollars spent, the willingness to employ a few extra people to increase productivity, superb customer service, and effective record keeping. That could be related as an understanding of sound business practices, the lack of which was the downfall of Brison. Sorry to be so blunt, but I feel that it's the truth.

BME could capitalize on the lessons learned by Brison and exemplified by DA if he wanted to corner the market in the 100-116cc class of engines. The power to weight ratio of the BME 110 is better than anything currently available, IMO. Reliability is right up there, too.
