Hey ice. That sucks big time, man. We have had five bicycles stolen from here over the years and there is NOTHING like the feeling of being violated in your personal space! It doesn't matter if it is just a coffee cup that is taken. The idea that someone thinks they have the right to something you have worked hard for. Worse yet, today judges think it is societies fault and just barely slap the hand, if they don't pat the back, of the perps.
I have a story I have to tell. I have mentioned, before, that my wife is a retired police officer, sgt. Well, one night five years ago, about 2:00 a.m., the alarm went off in my Ford Explorer. I was sound asleep and didn't hear it. The wife woke me and told me someone had broken into her Cherokee, ransacked it, stealing her briefcase, checkbook, and even her badge from the force! They broke the window in my Explorer and the alarm went off causing them to run. They didn't take anything from it. The thing is, it snowed! We get snow here about once a year and that was the night! Four inches of new snow on the ground and still falling! She told me she had her revolver and was going to follow the foot prints in the snow! By the time I realized what happened she was gone and was calling me on the cell phone. She had called the PD and told them what she was doing and that there was a single set of foot prints that she was tracking. By that time she was eight blocks away going through the projects! An officer met her and they continued following the tracks for another mile! They lead right up to an apartment door!

They knocked on the door and an old couple came to the door. They told them what happened and about the tracks and the old folks told them their grandson had come in and was up stairs. They gave them permision to talk to him and look in his room!! It was ALL there!!!!

She got everything back and the kid, 19 or 20, was arrested. This stupid, $#@%#, $%@$$#, jack ass, had just gotten out of prison four days before!!!!! He had an umbrella, with flash light batteries taped in the end of it, that he was using to break the windows!
I am telling you, there is not much that feels better than being able to catch someone, red handed, who stole from you!
My wife is the greatest!!!!!!![sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif] You just don't mess with Officer Paula Breckenridge!!!!!!!
Ice, I hope you can have, even half, the luck we did!
