Default RE: Evolution 46

Evolution engines are made at the same factory as ASP and Magnum.

You are right about the .45; it screams with an APC 11x7. I have a 4*40 kit that I'm going to put it on when I build it. The flywheel actually slows the engine down, and adds weight. Take it off and forget about it. Also, remove the baffle from the muffler if you don't get a Tower muffler.

I had a Fantasy sport flyer that had a TT Pro .46, OS .46 FX, and then the .46NT. On the first flight, it was clear that the .46NT had way more power. The engine had only been run for a few minutes before the first flight on the Fantasy. Even then, the engine was slightly rough sounding for the first tank but smoothed right out after that. I used APC 11x6 props for all 3 engines at that time.

Both engines are forgiving if not tuned dead on. The crankcases don't seem to load up very much compared to other engines.
