Default RE: Super 8 Chrome face

Over time, the attack on the transmitter by acids and oils from the hands, model fuels, and other chemicals it may have been exposed to can cause the finish to deteriorate. It would cost about $12.00 in parts and about $40.00 in labor to replace the chrome face. This is not a complete estimate. That can be given only once the service department has the opportunity to examine the unit in question.
