Been visiting Willy's site on proportional upgrades for the HL tanks, and ordered a receiver set from Murphy. Can't justify buying 2 more tanks right now. But I have decided to order them in the next few weeks after some other things are taken care of.

Talked to Murphy about the problem and he is shipping an xtra large board in case the second smokes as well.

After visiting Willy's site I decided I am going to do his conversion at some point in time. From the info on his site I decided I am going to use dual Scorpion ESC's, and a Spektrum DX6 radio. That should give me full control of the throttle, turning, gun elevation, turret rotation, gun firing, and be able to turn the smoke and LED's on. The only problem that I have with the conversion would be the sound. It was one of the features that I really liked about the HL and Tamiyas.I guess to convert it without buying a DMD unit I'll have to sacrifice something. Eventually I still want to get a Tamiya, but it's not in the cards right now....and when I have the DX6 I'll already have a capable radio to deal with them.

For now though it'll be a simple HL junk repair though. I also ordered a few metla parts for the tank from Germany. As soon as those come in I will start painting them to match the tank and put it all back together. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks everything will be back to HL normal.
