Well, I'm having a great time flying 3D, which means I'm bending motor shafts. Every Hacker outrunner comes with 3 extras, but to buy another motor to get 3 shafts means each extra shaft is costing me a little over $23 -- just a tad steep. And I can't seem to find 3 mm steel rod at my local hardware store, although they do have 3 mm drill bits which will do in a pinch.

I would prefer to just buy a 3-foot (OK, 1-meter) length of material and cut it into sections as needed. Any ideas on where to obtain such a thing?
