Default Modelteck Giles G-202 ARF any problems

This kit only recently begin shipping so probably not too many out there yet. Besides, many guys consider the Giles and unattractive airplane.

I looked at one of the kits at a Hobby People store recently and it is exceptionally well done. The covering job was smooth, the painted parts were glassy in finish. Wood quality (a lot of lite-ply) was clean and well glued. The entire airframe was very light yet rigid. There is also a hatch built into the underside of the fuse near the tail for two servos. Instructions show servo placement options for various engines.

Fellows at the store said it flys very good with a 61, hauls and 3D's with a 91 two stroke or 120 four stroke.

I have built several ModelTech ARC-ARFs and they are light, strong and have no bad flying habits.

I almost brought one home but I am six projects behind right now. Maybe later.
