That's the rub. Good software to do what you're asking is going to cost. One of the standards for this would be Photoshop, but it's a pricey package. That's what Minnflyer and I use for most of the graphics that we do here (Minn uses the Mac version and I use the Windows version). I also use Corel Draw for graphics that I cut vinyl/monokote. But once again it's expensive too. If you have a Linux system you can use The Gimp which is incredibly powerful graphics package.
