RE: modeltech twister
Hi.I think it may well have been the stab[liser that let go.I had the same experience just recently and on investigation of the remains it seems the actual stabiliser broke off on the R/H SIDE FIRST and about 100yds. further on the L/H stab.let go.It seems there is a stress raiser area where the stab joins the fuselage that needs some attention.At the time of the failure the plane was just exiting a cuban 8 at a moderate speed and it was on it's 3rd flight.Broke a new 70 ultimate as well.Bugger.
