RE: Beginner Needs help.
I learned to fly helicopters on the Blade CP. I picked that one because it is fairly inexpensive and has all of the same control features as a larger nitro heli (collective pitch).
It was a bit of work to get my brain trained to fly the heli, but after I did it has been the most rewarding RC hobby flying I have done in a long time. Just be prepared to spend some time at the kitchen table repairing the heli until you get your skills developed. Its a fun little bird and I would recommend it to anyone. The Honeybee CP2 is also an exact replica of the Blade CP, but I have noticed the CP has more of a hobby store presence and you might be able to get parts quicker because of that... see what your LHS has in their inventory... you might want to go with that to start off.
