Got the 2 new airsoft mechs in over the weekend. Installed a good one. Shoots pretty good with the 6.08mm barrel. I tried to put the turret and upper hull back together so I could just install the receiver boards and go, but I lost most of the screws somehow. Can' figure it out..I had them all in a metal parts dish. Oh well I'll have to take a run to the hobby shop and get some new screws...either that or the hardware store. Took some pics of it pieced together. When I get home in the morining I'll resize them and post a few images.
I'm really looking into the fully proportional conversion though. I picked out a radio already, going to find out how much everything would cost from my LHS and see how I would come out from a few sources. The only thing I will not be able to get working (because of my limited knowledge) would be the sound. The radio I want is the Spektrum DX6. 6 channel radio that has multiple model memory so I would be able to use it for a Tamiya later on. The wife is behind me to order 2 more tanks also. She wants to have one to play with and one for the kids.....gotta love a supporting wife!!!!
