6 volt for a 2s lipo is right.

I have the P-47 and also used the 180 motor from a areobird scout I had. Set up ailerons and elevator (no rudder) with bluebird 306 servos. I use an E-Tec 700 mah 2s lipo. The RX is a blue bird also. The esc is the pixie 20
This little guy is a good balanced flier.
