Eddie,
HP as we know is way over stated in the R/C world. It is about 3.5-4 Hp on a BVM DF engine to get 12 lbs thrust so 2200 watts should get us that.

I am planning on putting it in a old DF Viper that I have new in the box with a slightly larger wing.
