I had the same tail strike problem and somewhat reduced it by putting 2 turns of heavy duty clear plastic shipping tape (2" wide) around the boom in the blade strike zone. Reduced the damage rate anyway
catfight do you think this damage to the
mainframe is from the blade striking the boom? I thought it was from the boom/tail support post striking the ground.
